Chris's Bikes is on Thornton Way, 5 minutes from Cambridge City centre. We have great deals on new bikes by Fahrrad Manufaktur, Giant, Dawes and Dahon as well as on accessories and clothing. We've been in business since September 1992 and are known for excellent quality service and repair work. We also hire bikes to individuals and to organisations.
We now offer bikes and equipment TAX FREE with the Cycle to Work (C2W) Scheme

Giant TCR Advanced SL special. I had 12 demo bikes from Giant a year or so ago. Some were TCR Advanced some were Defy Advanced and 2 were TCR Advanced SL frames. All had exactly the same running gear-----top of the range at the time. People could then tell the difference between the framesets when they rode them.
So full Dura ace groupsets Kysirium SL superlight wheelsets. FSA carbon bars annd stems.
I have been riding the large SL bike and have kept the Medium/large one.
I am now selling both as it is time to test a newer bike.

Of course like any shop I can get all models and will hopefully be able to sell them cheaper than anyone else. Remember your favourite big internet shopping sites do not hold stock.It looks like they do but they only order from the same supplier we all use once you have paid your money !!

Giant Defy Advanced. Medium. Brand new.
This is a brand new full carbon Advanced frame which I have built with the most up to date Shimano 105 groupset in black. It is full 105 so that means even the 10 speed cassette and chain and brake calipers are also 105.
Wheelset is the Giant P-SL1 and PR3 tyres. So bike is built to current 2012 Defy Advanced 3 spec.Current RRP £1999.
This bike I will sell for £1550 and it looks great.

Moda Presto 2010 XC full suspension Mountain Bike (8.5.12)
Moda Presto 2010 XC full suspension mountain bike for sale. These bikes retailed for £1999.They have some very special kit on --- including Rockshox Reba SL front suspension with lockout and 100mm travel.(Over £500 retail) Rockshox Ario 2.1 rear suspension unit. XT chainset and rear derailleur. SLX front derailleur Deore shifters and hydraulic brakeset. American Classic 350 wheelset (over £450 retail !! Selling the whole bike for £799.You could break this and make a profit on Ebay at this price !! Which is what I will do if it does not sell. As of 08/05/2012 only one 19.5" left.

I have just finished building this 2010 Defy 2. Bike of the year in 2010.
I have built it with 18 speed Tiagra which is the original spec. Except this is better as the chainset and brakes are also Tiagra. The original spec was tektro brakes and cheaper FSA chainset.
Shimano R500 wheels and conti ulta sport .
Giant connect handlebars and stem (better than original spec )
